Real loads. Real projects. Orlando, FL & beyond.
Real trucks, real driveways, real job sites — no stock photos. Every load below was hauled and placed by Alex and Family Trucking.
These are photographs from actual deliveries around Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, Lakeland, and the rest of the Central Florida corridor. They show what a finished delivery looks like — where the pile lands, how much room a tri-axle needs, and what a given material looks like once it's on the ground. If you're trying to picture a load of #57 limestone, fill dirt, or gravel on your own site, start here.
Questions About What You're Seeing
How much room does a dump truck need to deliver to my driveway?
A tri-axle needs roughly 60 feet of straight approach and about 25 feet of overhead clearance to raise the body — watch for low branches, power lines, and carport overhangs. Most of the residential deliveries pictured here were made from a standard driveway. Send us a photo of your access and we'll tell you before we roll.
Will the truck damage my driveway or lawn?
A loaded dump truck is heavy, so we stay on concrete and asphalt wherever possible and keep off pavers, septic drainfields, and soft turf. In the photos above you can see the trucks positioned on the driveway with the pile dropped on the hard surface. If your driveway is a concern, tell us and we'll dump at the apron or on the road right-of-way instead.
How much material is in one of these piles?
Most of the piles pictured are a single tri-axle load, which runs roughly 15 to 18 tons depending on the material and its moisture. That is about 10 to 12 cubic yards of stone, or enough to cover a 20-by-30-foot driveway a few inches deep. Request a quote with your square footage and depth and we'll size the load for you.
Can I see photos of a specific material before I order?
Yes. Materials look different in person than they do in a catalog, and color varies by pit. Call or message us and we'll send current photos of the exact material out of the yard we'd be loading from.
